Light Project - Create a photostory about how these various optical instruments.
Step one - Research and write a five paragraph essay about your instrument
Par 1 - Introduction. Pull us into your story. Why is this important? How does this relate to physics? What is the important background?
Par 2 - Uses/Explaination/History
Par 3 - Explain how the light flows through your instrument. Explain the physic behind it. Include information on focal length, type of image, whether light is converging or diverging.
Par 4 - Problems/issues/concerns/other interesting info
Par 5 - Conclusion - Pull it all together.
References - works cited at end
Step two - search for and collect photos the will help illustrate your essay
Step three - Collect and put together your photos on either Photostory or Microsoft Movie. Add title, voice, music to produce a professional video. When complete you must "create a movie" before storing on the T drive or the class hard drive or uploading to teachertube or youtube.
Step four - present finished product to class.
Due date: Essay - March 28, 2014 Video - April 4, 2014
